It includes a 5 μm polypropylene filter and a coconut-shell carbon block filter, Pure CTOP 2510-05, to reduce chlorine, sediment and chlorine by-products, as well as their odor and taste. The filter housing accepts 10" cartridges and its materials are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42.
