The Aqara standalone photoelectric smoke detector activates an audible and visual alarm when the smoke concentration exceeds the set threshold. The siren reaches up to 85 dB, and the three-colour LED flashes to signal an alarm. When connected to an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub, it sends notifications to the Aqara Home app and supports grouping with other detectors so they activate together.
Automations can be configured and the alarm can be silenced with a single tap in the app. Local automations work without an internet connection, while integration with third-party ecosystems requires a compatible hub and, where needed, a Matter controller. The lithium battery lasts up to 10 years. The housing is made with flame-retardant materials and includes an insect-protection mesh.
