The Concordia board game by PD Verlag is a strategic economic development game set in Roman times for 2–5 players. Players lead Roman dynasties, sending colonists to cities that produce bricks, food, tools, wine, and cloth, while developing trade networks. Each player starts with the same set of cards, which determine their actions and earn victory points at the end.
Strategy is based on planning and anticipating opponents’ moves, with no dice. The game ends when the cards available for purchase run out or when a player builds their 15th house; the winner is the player with the most points from the gods. It includes a double-sided board: one side with 30 cities for 3–5 players and the other with 25 cities for 2–4 players.
