As far as microphones are concerned, as long as they are reliable models from reputable brands, after a certain price point, what makes a microphone "good" becomes subjective. It depends a lot on the use, the voice, and each person's taste.

Personally, since I bought it for recording songs, I really like how it sounds with my voice.
With my voice, where until now I used to add saturation with a lot of treble and still had to boost the high frequencies a lot in the EQ and cut the lows from a relatively high frequency to make it sound balanced, out of the box, completely raw, it already sounds as if I did all that, plus it has detail.

The aura feature was very secondary for me, but it works well and it's nice to have. I wouldn't call it essential, but I wouldn't call it a gimmick either. Just be careful not to let a hand get in front of the sensor, but that hasn't happened to me by accident.

I wouldn't recommend it if the voice it's going to be used with is high-pitched and/or thin, but for a lower and/or "fuller" voice, I highly recommend it.
