Saki comes out of her last meeting with Kanon flushed and distressed, after a careless comment from Kanon that nearly revealed Saki's long-held feelings. Did Kanon finally learn the truth? While Saki is tormented by this question, summer unfolds, bringing the end-of-season festivities and the prospect of a new school year. When Saki sees a poster for a fireworks festival, she remembers how sad Kanon was that she couldn't enjoy the festivals after losing her hearing. She then decides to invite Kanon to watch the fireworks from her balcony, and Kanon happily agrees. As the sky above them explodes with colors, Kanon and Saki grow closer and closer...
