The Prestan torso manikin simulates an adult for training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation with an AED trainer. The LED metronome on the left shoulder indicates the rate and depth of chest compressions, while the clicker mechanism produces a sound when compressions are performed correctly. Tilting the head opens the airway, allowing rescue breaths to inflate the lung bag and visibly raise the chest.
The skin has a realistic texture and protects the defibrillator electrodes from wear during use. The lung bag and face mask fit into special slots, and the bag is easy to install.
