It offers flexible recording options such as real-time recording, step recording, as well as the classic TR drum programming. At the same time, it features a built-in arpeggiator, chord memory function, and ready-made rhythm patterns. For performing backing tracks, immediate playback of WAV and AIFF audio files is supported.

The rear panel includes a main output 2 x 6.3 mm jack, 6.3 mm stereo headphone output, combined XLR / TRS microphone input, as well as a 3.5 mm stereo line input.
