The Inglesina Darwin Infant car seat is an infant carrier-style seat installed rear-facing, for babies measuring 40–75 cm. The recline lowers the backrest and extends the leg rest, allowing the baby to lie almost flat. Integrated Shock Absorber (I.S.A.) technology absorbs and reduces the energy transmitted to the child in the event of a collision.

The Side Head Protection system provides enhanced protection in a side-impact collision. The headrest is height-adjustable, and the integrated 3-point harness adjusts as the child grows. The seat is approved to the ECE R129/03 i-Size standard and can be installed with or without a base.
