The Chipolino Marathon tricycle can be used in two ways: an adult can push the child using the handle, or the child can pedal independently. The swivelling seat has two positions, facing forward or towards the adult, and the backrest reclines. The parent handle is height-adjustable. When an adult is pushing the tricycle, the front-wheel pedals are disengaged, allowing the child to rest their feet on the footrest.

The tricycle features an adjustable canopy with a sun visor, a front tray, front and rear storage baskets, and a foldable handlebar. The backrest folds down for compact storage.
