With the purchase of my beloved Aventus this time, they gave me a sample of Centaurus, which was released last September if I'm not mistaken. A purely winter fragrance.
At the opening, we have cinnamon, which after about an hour fades away and is replaced by a combination of flowers, creating a more unisex profile, I believe. I saw that it contains tobacco, which I honestly did not detect during the evolution of the fragrance. It also has something familiar that I would say leans towards Layton from Parfum de Marly.
Good performance like all these sweet, Christmas-type fragrances.
Obviously, there is no comparison in quality - aromatic terms with any youthful sweet release like Stronger With You, Spicebomb, etc., that flood the internet and department stores, because with Creed you buy quality that is evident from afar.
In conclusion, I wasn't blown away by this particular release from Creed, and at this price, I would go for Layton, which is also lower in price and one of the most successful fragrances of this profile.
However, I believe it will appeal to quite a few people and is quite easy to wear during the winter months
