  • Type

    Macro

The lens has a macro function for photographing subjects from very close distances.

  • Mount

The type of mount that the camera body must have in order for the lens to be fully functional when attached to it.

    2. Some lenses can be used with older mounts from the same manufacturer, sacrificing certain functions (e.g. autofocus), or even with mounts from other manufacturers using an adapter.

  • Item

Lenses with variable optical (zoom) that remain equally bright (same maximum aperture value) throughout the entire focal distance range they offer. Usually significantly more expensive than their variable aperture counterparts.

    Fixed Focal Length

Lenses with fixed optics are usually of higher quality than a corresponding zoom lens at the same focal distance. They are also called "fixed" or "prime" lenses.

  • Sensor Type

    Full Frame

Photographic lenses designed for use on full frame sensor cameras. A full frame lens can also be used on a crop frame sensor camera, but with its focal length adjusted according to the corresponding crop factor.

For example, a full frame lens with a focal length of 50mm (standard) on a camera body with a crop factor of 1.6 will function with a perspective as if it were an 80mm lens (telephoto).

The reverse does not work as the optics of a crop frame lens are not sufficient to cover an entire full frame sensor, resulting in the edges of the frame being black (severe vignetting).

  • Maximum Aperture (f)

Opening the diaphragm determines the amount of light received by the camera and affects the depth of field.
    2. The most open aperture of a lens is called the maximum. The more open the aperture (smaller f-number), the shallower the depth of field.

Description

The 7artisans Photoelectric 60mm f/2.8 Macro 2x lens is a prime lens with 2x magnification and Nikon Z Mount compatibility. Manual focus and a click-stop aperture ring provide tactile feedback when adjusting settings. The minimum focusing distance is 6.7 inches, while the 9-blade aperture helps create bokeh.

The optical design includes two ED elements and two high-refractive-index elements. Internal focusing keeps the lens length constant and reduces the amount of dust that can enter the lens.
