Purchase at the end of April 2025...
The card took 5 business days to arrive, which made me very happy since the stock of GPUs hasn't been particularly large lately. Some time ago, I bought a 34'' AOC monitor with a resolution of 3440x1440 and 180hz, but I didn't have a graphics card to test it, so buying a Mid Tier GPU, especially from a relatively new brand in the market, was a risk...
I have a relatively old system consisting of a Z370 motherboard (thankfully it supports resizable bar), a 9700k, and 16GB DDR4 RAM. The fear was the well-known overhead issues with Intel's new cards, which, when working with older processors, can lose up to 50% performance if the processor isn't strong enough to 'keep up' with them in gaming.
I've changed more than 30 graphics cards over the past 10 years, so I can have an opinion on when a GPU is worth its money and when you're just paying extra either to the main company that makes the chips or to the 3rd party vendor who just releases an implementation. Note that I bought the card with an invoice due to business, which means it cost me 290€ / 1.24 (VAT) = about 235€. The card is more than worth it at this price, to the point that I can't comprehend what I bought and for how much.
Let me address the elephant in the room: the card works NORMALLY like a GPU from NVIDIA/AMD with its drivers flawlessly and with very simple and user-friendly software. No overhead issue even with a 6(!) year old processor without hyper threading, which eliminates any concerns/doubts someone might have about whether their older system can work with this card. Surely, the 3440x1440 resolution plays a role since, as I see, the GPU is constantly at 99% usage. At lower resolutions, mainly at 1080p, it MIGHT show some bottleneck with an older CPU, but honestly, there's no reason to get this card if you play at 1080p.
At WQHD resolution, which is essentially something between 2k and 4k, the card performs excellently. In AAA titles like AC Mirage, God of War Ragnarok, Red Dead Redemption II, it delivers 60-80fps at MAX settings with Intel's XeSS upscaling set to balance. Visually, the result is excellent for the FPS the game provides. I haven't tried it without upscaling at this resolution, but I believe the performance loss would be significant. The 12GB RAM it has sometimes gets filled, which puts cards like Nvidia's 3070Ti and 3080 out of the competition, as they can't cope at this resolution due to having 8GB and 10GB RAM, respectively. The 1% lows are also very good, giving the user an overall smooth experience during gaming.
In terms of temperatures, max 72c in a vertical mounted Phanteks case, with the core clock stable at 2850mhz. Very quiet, you can't even hear it to be honest, even after continuous gaming.
In conclusion, I spent 235€ and got a graphics card that, in an older system thanks to new technologies (FSR and XeSS), I can play COMFORTABLY at an extremely demanding resolution for many games, all with graphics set to Very High - Ultra. I can't believe that a few years ago I paid x4 this amount for a 3060ti (back when there were no cards on the market due to mining) and today, for less than €300 with a receipt, Intel gives you such a complete card, brand new, with warranty and everything... It's a steal, guys. I wish there was a way to convince all the gamers out there to try an Intel card at lower resolutions so that competition might bring prices down... Honestly, you have nothing to lose, it's a perfectly normal GPU that performs excellently at 2k+++.
Anyone who wants something for 1080p should go for a b570 or a used NVIDIA / AMD.

Update 16/09/2025: The card continues to perform at its best, giving a small update for Hogwarts Legacy. At 3440x1440p, everything at max settings with XeSS Ultra Quality upscale and Frame Gen2, the card delivers almost 100fps in most areas of the map. Its price right now is €259, don't even think about it..

Η κάρτα έκανε 5 εργάσιμες να έρθει, γεγονός που με χαροποιεί ιδιαίτερα μιας και το stock των GPUs δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα μεγάλο τελευταία. Είχα πάρει πριν από καιρό μια οθόνη 34'' της AOC με ανάλυση 3440x1440 και 180hz αλλά δεν είχα κάρτα γραφικών για να την δοκιμάσω, οπότε η αγορά μιας Mid Tier GPU και ειδικά από ένα brand σχετικά νέο στον χώρο αποτελούσε ρίσκο..
Έχω ένα σχετικά παλιό σύστημα το οποίο αποτελείται από μια Ζ370 μητρική ( ευτυχώς υποστηρίζει resizable bar ), έναν 9700k και 16GB RAM ddr4. O φόβος ήταν τα γνωστά overhead issues στις νέες κάρτες της intel οι οποίες δουλεύοντας με παλαιότερους επεξεργαστες, μπορούν να χάσουν έως και 50% performance αν ο επεξεργαστής δεν είναι αρκετα δυνατος ωστε να τις ''ακολουθησει'' στο gaming.
Έχω αλλάξει πάνω από 30 κάρτες γραφικών τα τελευταία 10 χρόνια οπότε μπορώ να έχω μια άποψη για το πότε μια GPU αξίζει τα χρήματα της και πότε πληρώνεις αέρα είτε στην μαμά εταιρεία που βγάζει τα chip είτε στον 3rd party έμπορο που βγάζει απλά μια υλοποίηση. Να σημειωθεί πως την κάρτα την αγόρασα με τιμολόγιο λόγω επιχείρησης, γεγονός που σημαίνει ότι μου κόστισε 290€ / 1.24 που είναι ο ΦΠΑ = 235€ περίπου. Η κάρτα αξίζει και με το παραπάνω σε αυτά τα χρήματα, σε βαθμό που δεν μπορεί να συλλάβει το μυαλό μου τι αγόρασε και πόσο.
Να αναφερθώ στον ελέφαντα στο δωμάτιο, η κάρτα λειτουργεί ΚΑΝΟΝΙΚΑ σαν μια GPU από NVIDIA / AMD με τα drivers της απροβλημάτιστα και με ένα software πολύ απλό και εύχρηστο. Κανένα overhead issue ακόμα και με επεξεργαστή 6(!) χρόνων χωρίς hyper threading, γεγονός που εξαλείφει τις όποιες ανησυχίες / αμφιβολίες μπορεί να έχει κάποιος αν το παλαιότερο σύστημα του μπορει να δουλέψει με αυτή την κάρτα. Σίγουρα παίζει ρόλο η ανάλυση των 3440x1440 μιας και μόνιμα από ότι βλέπω η GPU είναι στο 99% usage, σε χαμηλότερες αναλύσεις και κυρίως σε 1080p τότε ΙΣΩΣ εμφανίσει κάποιο bottleneck με κάποιον παλαιότερο CPU, αλλά παιδιά ειλικρινά δεν υπάρχει λόγος να πάρετε αυτήν την κάρτα αν παίζετε σε 1080p.
Στην ανάλυση WQHD που είναι ουσιαστικά κάτι ανάμεσα σε 2κ και 4κ η κάρτα τα πάει περίφημα, σε ΑΑΑ τίτλους όπως AC Mirage, God of War Ragnarok, Red Dead Redemption II βγάζει 60-80fps στις MAX ρυθμίσεις με το ΧeSS upscaling της Intel στη ρύθμιση balance. Οπτικά το αποτέλεσμα είναι άριστο για τα FPS που δίνει το παιχνίδι, χωρίς upscaling δεν την έχω δοκιμάσει σε αυτή την ανάλυση αλλά πιστεύω θα είναι μεγάλο το performance loss. Τα 12GB RAM που διαθέτει κάποιες φορές γεμίζουν, γεγονός που βγάζει εκτός συναγωνισμού κάρτες όπως η 3070Ti και η 3080 της Nvidia, δεν μπορούν να ανταπεξέλθουν σε αυτή την ανάλυση λόγω 8GB και 10GB RAM αντίστοιχα. Πολύ καλά επίσης και τα 1% lows, πράγμα που δίνει στον χρήστη μια overall smooth εμπειρία κατά τη διάρκεια του gaming.
Από άποψη θερμοκρασιών, max 72c σε vertical mounted case της Phanteks, με το core clock σταθερα στα 2850mhz. Πολυ ήσυχη, ούτε που ακούγεται για να είμαι ειλικρινής ακόμα και μετά από συνεχόμενο gaming.
Εν κατακλείδι, έδωσα 235€ και πήρα κάρτα γραφικών που σε παλαιότερο σύστημα χάρη στις νέες τεχνολογίες ( FSR και XeSS ) μπορώ και παίζω ΑΝΕΤΑ σε μια εξαιρετικά απαιτητική ανάλυση για πολλά παιχνίδια, κι όλα αυτά με τα γραφικά στο Very High - Ultra. Δεν μπορώ να το πιστέψω ότι πριν από κάποια χρόνια είχα δώσει x4 αυτά τα χρήματα για μια 3060ti ( τότε που δεν υπήρχαν κάρτες στις αγορά λόγω mining ) και σήμερα με λιγότερα από 300€ για αγορά με απόδειξη η intel σου δίνει μια τόσο ολοκληρωμένη κάρτα, καινούρια, με την εγγύηση της και τα πάντα... Είναι ληστεία παιδιά, μακάρι να υπήρχε τρόπος να πείσεις όλους τους gamers εκεί έξω να δοκιμάσουν μια κάρτα της intel στις μικρότερες αναλύσεις μπας και ο ανταγωνισμός ρίξει τις τιμές του.. Δεν έχετε να χάσετε κάτι ειλικρινά, είναι μια κανονικότατη GPU που αποδίδει εξαιρετικά σε 2κ+++.
Όποιος θέλει κάτι για 1080p, ας πάει σε μια b570 η μια μεταχειρισμένη NVIDIA / AMD.

Update 16/09/2025: H κάρτα συνεχίζει και αποδίδει τα μέγιστα, δίνω ένα μικρό update σε Hogwarts Legacy. Σε 3440x1440p όλα στις μέγιστες ρυθμίσεις με XeSS Ultra Quality upscale κ' Frame Gen2 ή κάρτα βγάζει σχεδόν 100fps στα περισσότερα σημεία του map. Η τιμή της αυτή τη στιγμή είναι στα 259€, μην το σκέφτεστε καν..
