The MPL POSDC-Y-PS25-1.0 power cable connects DC devices via a 2.5 × 5.5 × 10 mm female plug and a 2.5/5.5 mm male connector. Its bare ends allow solderless connection. It is used in audio installations, alarm and intercom systems, LED lighting, CCTV, and home automation.

The two flexible stranded conductors are made of pure copper and have a PVC sheath with double insulation.
