For hair removal on legs, armpits, and bikini, I have been exclusively using epilator devices for many years. I have tried several from Braun as well as Babyliss, Rowenta, and Panasonic. I concluded that Braun's devices are overpriced because hair removal with Braun has always been much more painful, although I accept that they may remove shorter hairs that others might not catch. All the devices I used from them did not have particularly strong motors, and the hair was removed at a slower speed, which causes more pain. Whereas, for example, with Babyliss, which was much cheaper but had a stronger motor as I found out (thus the cylinder rotated at a higher speed), hair removal was much less painful and faster.

Now regarding this specific device for the face, I regret my money. First, because it suddenly stopped working and no longer charges, even though I had used it very few times. Unacceptable for such a well-known brand that I paid nearly €70 for back then. Second, because hair removal on the upper lip with fine but quite dense fuzz was very painful every time, to the point of bringing me to tears, and I had to go over the same spot multiple times to catch the hairs from the root and not just cut them (while as I mentioned, I have been doing hair removal with an epilator in the armpit for years where I feel almost no pain). But as we said... less powerful motor, slower hair removal speed, more pain.
