The Islebound Emerald Edition board game by Red Raven Games is a strategy game for 2–4 players, in English. It is a variation of Islebound with modified components and rules, in which emeralds replace books as a resource.
Players collect emeralds by visiting other players’ cities or capturing cities. They use them to buy building cards or activate special abilities, such as keeping pirates and snakes after a battle. The revised building card pack includes modified cards from the original game and some from the Metropolis expansion.
