By rotating the clip, you can choose between "Kurutoga mode" and "Hold mode".

"Kurutoga mode": The pencil tip rotates slightly every time you write, keeping it always sharp, allowing you to write clearly without the lines becoming thick. Ideal for anyone who wants to make beautiful notes.

"Hold mode": When you need to write quickly across the entire surface of the notebook without worrying about differences in line thickness or shading, the writing is steady and comfortable. Ideal for memorization and other studies.

The grip is made of soft and elastic aGEL, offering excellent fit and comfortable grip. The new triple-layer structure of the "Gel Sand Grip" provides a soft and pleasant grip, as well as a firm hold that allows comfortable writing even for extended use. The aGEL gently absorbs the pressure of the fingers. The third layer of silicone provides a stable grip.

To accommodate the Gel Sand Grip, the Kurutoga engine is located behind the aGEL grip. A newly designed Kurutoga engine has been created while maintaining the same performance. The rotation of the tip can be confirmed by the change of color inside the window in the center of the barrel (White > Orange > White > ...).

Every time you write, the tip rotates slightly in cones. When you press the pencil tip on the paper and then release it, the internal gear moves up and down. The diagonal teeth rotate the tip little by little.
