I left Samsung and chose OnePlus because for the same money I saw better specs, and I’ve had it for 5 months. As a user, I’m not particularly interested in photos, so for me its camera is satisfactory. In no way can it be compared to Samsung, but I had accepted that from the start.
On the positive side, the amazing battery lasts a whole day with quite a bit of use (even with casual gaming during the day) and wireless Android Auto, which greatly increases consumption. With a supervooc charger you don’t care if you forget to charge it, because in 5 minutes it can get up to +20%.
Also positive is the built-in ability to share photos and media with iPhone without losing resolution.
Edit 12/2025: With the new update to OS 16, the following bluetooth issue seems to have been resolved, so I’m raising the rating from 3 to 4 stars. The only negative is the mediocre camera compared to the competition.
"The only major negative that has disappointed me is that it has issues with bluetooth, and it ruins the daily user experience. It frequently disconnects, and very often it does not automatically connect to paired devices. Also, in many cases, while I’m already using a connected bluetooth device (earbuds, android auto) and listening to, say, music, an incoming call comes in and the phone does not route the audio to bluetooth, forcing you to take off the headphones and talk on the phone (it doesn’t even give you the option to select the already connected device)."
Έφυγα από Samsung και επέλεξα OnePlus καθώς στα ίδια λεφτά έβλεπα καλύτερα specs, και το έχω 5 μήνες. Σαν χρήστης δε με ενδιαφέρουν ιδιαίτερα οι φωτογραφίες, οπότε για μένα η κάμερά του είναι ικανοποιητική. Σε καμία περίπτωση δε συγκρίνεται με Samsung, αλλά το είχα εξ αρχής αποδεχτεί.
Στα θετικά του η τρομερή μπαταρία, βγάζει ολόκληρη μέρα με αρκετή χρήση (με χαλαρό gaming μέσα στη μέρα κιόλας) και ασύρματο android auto που αυξάνει πολύ την κατανάλωση. Με supervooc φορτιστή δε σε νοιάζει αν θα το ξεχασεις αφόρτιστο, γιατί στο 5λεπτο παίρνει μέχρι και +20%.
Επίσης στα θετικά του η buildin δυνατότητα να κάνεις share φωτογραφίες και υλικό με IPhone χωρίς να χάνεις σε ανάλυση.
Edit 12/2025: με το νέο update σε OS 16, δείχνει να έχει επιλυθεί το παρακάτω θέμα με το bluetooth, οπότε ανεβάζω την αξιολόγηση από 3 σε 4 αστέρια. Μόνο αρνητικό του είναι η μέτρια κάμερα σε σχέση με τον ανταγωνισμό
"Το μόνο μεγάλο αρνητικό το οποίο με έχει απογοητεύσει είναι ότι έχει θέματα με το bluetooth, και χαλάει την καθημερινή εμπειρία χρήσης. Κάνει συχνά αποσυνδέσεις, ενώ πάρα πολλές φορές δε συνδέεται αυτόματα με paired devices. Επίσης, σε πάρα πολλές περιπτώσεις, ενώ χρησιμοποιώ ήδη συνδεδεμένη συσκευή bluetooth (earbuds, android auto) και ακούω πχ μουσική, σκάει εισερχόμενη κλήση και το κινητό δεν περνάει τη φωνή στο bluetooth και σε αναγκάζει να βγάλεις τα ακουστικά και να μιλήσεις από το τηλέφωνο (δε σου δίνει καν επιλογή να επιλέξεις την ηδη συνδεδεμένη συσκευή).
