LorAnn Butter Vanilla concentrated flavor is suitable for use in fondant, marzipan, chocolate, candy, cakes, cookies and brownies. It is 3 to 4 times stronger than water- or alcohol-based flavors and does not diminish when exposed to high heat.
When substituting for extract, use ¼ to ½ teaspoon of flavor for every 1 teaspoon of extract. Avoid using plastic measuring tools and utensils, and wipe up spills promptly, as prolonged contact may damage plastic and countertops. The full-strength concentrated flavor should not come into direct contact with skin. It contains water, propylene glycol, and natural and artificial flavor, and may contain traces of egg, peanuts, soy, milk, and sulfur dioxide and sulfites at concentrations above 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/l, expressed as SO2.
