River City Girls 2 for Xbox Series X follows Misako, Kyoko, Kunio and Riki, along with their new allies Marian and Provie, on a beat ’em up adventure featuring combat and exploration. It includes six playable characters, each with their own fighting style and upgradeable moves.

Combat features guard-breaking attacks, item combos and elemental attacks with different effects. River City has new areas with multiple routes and hidden spots, destructible objects, and a day-and-night cycle.
