Referring to what is specifically discussed in the five chapters of the hypothetically "invisible manual," we now wonder if in the work of Ioannis Kapodistrias, beyond the reasons that dictate his various maneuvers, there lies a more fundamental principle regarding how the problems of the world should be addressed.
One might say, as we have simply mentioned him in the introduction, is there a Kapodistrian Rule for resolving disputes, which would prove to be particularly beneficial not only then but also now, in nostro tempore?
A-I. D. M.
The Invisible Manual, in short, is a way of reading and reconstructing the political thought of I. Kapodistrias, his theoretical prerequisites, his perception of reality, his understanding of his time, and even his imagination.
The book would have remained at the level of historical treatise if Professor Metaxas had not come with the chapter titled "In nostro tempore," highlighting the timelessness of Kapodistrias' political thought and thus bringing to light a "classic" of political thought.
