Review this product
  • The quality of the microphone is good but I suggest you buy it from abroad (well-known Chinese apps), I got it for 50 euros and I believe that's about what it's worth for its quality.
Let me clarify first that I haven't connected it via XLR but with USB-A.
    The good:
    - The voice sounds clear.
    - It has RGB if that's something that interests you.
    - You can adjust the microphone's gain and the headphone noise (as long as you have them connected to its aux) with the knobs on it.
    - You can easily mute it via the button on its back.
    - Its build quality is quite good except for one negative which causes problems, which is that the microphone is plastic. I don't expect at the price of 50 euros for it not to be plastic somewhere but it's strange to me that the base seems to be metal but not the microphone itself.
    The bad:
    - Because the microphone is plastic, wherever you touch it (stand, knobs, etc.) it makes noise. If you have it on the desk and type, it will pick up the vibration even if you type softly, if you touch the desk a bit it's the same, and unfortunately it's not just if you have it on the desk, even if you have it on a boom arm, if you move it a bit it will make noise. I tested it with a stand that has rubber feet and it doesn't pick up the hits as much, the stand that comes with it has a small piece of foam (?) but it doesn't do much. In general, it's a microphone that's best kept in one place and if you want to move it, mute it (although you can set it up so that all of the above aren't heard through some equalizer or even on Discord if you play a bit with the settings).
    - The microphone is advertised as dynamic cardioid (the largest part of the sound it picks up is right in front of the microphone and the surrounding sounds aren't as loud) but I can't say it does a very good job, the surrounding sounds indeed aren't picked up as much but as I said above because the microphone is very sensitive it still picks up almost everything, especially if you're, for example, chewing food it's asmr time for your friends.

I don't know if I got a defective one but I've seen many people on Reddit and in YouTube reviews mention what I said above (of course by the time the microphone had already arrived).

I have had this microphone for 2 years today. I first bought it back then from a "big orange Chinese store" because it wasn't available in Greece, for €120 together with the Fifine sound card and XLR connection. The microphone is flawless. Extremely value for money and now that it is even cheaper, it is even more value. It competes with microphones like the Blue Yeti and Shure SM7B. I believe that with a better sound card than the Fifine one, it could be even better. It is mainly used for gaming/meetings for work but also for recording that I did at times, very decent. In the price range of €50-80 it is by far the best microphone.

I have it on an Elgato Wave Low Profile V2 arm
