  • There are no drivers for BT5.3 (Win 10)!!! Unfortunately, it installs generic drivers from 2006 (The speeds are very limited). If you search the internet you will find the related issue. See here https://www.reddit.com/r/pchelp/comments/xdlmg4/ugreen_bluetooth_53_cm591_chip_ats2851/

Tested with a PS5 controller and it shows latency of 30ms+ (in many cases it even reached 120ms). I can't say it's unplayable but the experience is definitely not good.

The product is the "CM591" which, if you search on Skroutz, you can find at a very good price. On Windows 11 it connects perfectly and does not require drivers to operate. You plug it in and it appears directly in the system tray. This particular one, which is being reviewed, has packaging as described on the page here, but there is also another batch with a square, more "compact" packaging, with the only difference being that the USB dongle port cap is black and makes the dongle look uniform, as shown in the photo I attach in the review (which shows the square packaging). In contrast, this batch being reviewed has a transparent dongle cap, mostly for protecting the port inside the packaging. If someone wants to have it on their keys, for example, they can buy the one with the black cap. I mention this in case you see two different UGREEN bluetooth dongle 5.3 packages, with different prices and think they are something different. The product is the "CM591" from UGREEN in both packages and has the same specifications. It has a maximum RF output power of 4dBm, it is indeed bluetooth 5.3, and it states a range of 20 meters (ideal - no blocking) - which means that with obstacles it is less. With wireless headphones "headsets", mobile-type bt pods - earbuds and a large computer bluetooth speaker (2 satellites and a woofer) that I tested, it works normally.

This product does not work with Windows due to lack of drivers. It is completely useless.
