This particular motherboard is one of the most complete micro-ATX AM5 motherboards available and definitely ranks among the most high-end options. I got it with futureproofing in mind, because I know that in the next 2-3 years I’ll upgrade to an even more powerful processor. The work I do requires a lot of processing power, so I wanted the foundation of the system to be solid and not limit anything.
The main reason I chose it was its VRMs (12+2+2 phases). It has very high-quality VRMs with DrMOS, covered with large and efficient heatsinks that keep temperatures low even under heavy use. From day one, I set it up with a Ryzen 7 9700X and 32 GB DDR5, and everything worked perfectly. I have enabled PBO and unlocked the power delivery to provide whatever is needed, and the motherboard operates flawlessly, without being stressed at all. During long rendering sessions in Blender, the VRM temperatures remain low.
Other than that, it has everything you’d expect from such a motherboard. Specifically, plenty of USB ports (including Type-C), as well as a BIOS that is easy to use but also offers many options for fine tuning.
Design-wise, it’s very beautiful. The white color with the metallic heatsinks gives it a nice look and fits perfectly in a white build.
