With SmartSelect, you can adjust power levels and times quickly and easily. The white display with exceptionally high contrast makes the settings more readable. Cooktops with SmartSelect White controls also have the same practical features as SmartSelect – such as the convenient time selection.

Security Features

Maximum protection in every situation: the system lock provides reliable protection against accidental or unauthorized activation. If a cooking zone operates at the same level for an unusually long time or there is no cookware on the hob, it automatically switches off. The residual heat indicator has another useful function: it reminds you not to touch the cooking zones when they are still hot.

MattFinish is the modern black matte surface with an elegant design that integrates seamlessly into modern kitchens and impresses in two ways: the special surface significantly reduces scratches, while the fingerprint protection guarantees a clean appearance.


PowerFlex

Focus entirely on cooking: with Con@ctivity, your extractor hood knows exactly what to do. As soon as you switch the hob on or off, the extractor hood reacts automatically. The extraction power adjusts automatically depending on what is happening on the hob, always creating a pleasant atmosphere. The devices communicate with each other via WiFi. Con@ctivity allows you to integrate the extractor hood and hob into Miele@home.


Easy Additional Features

Greater cooking comfort: with the Stop & Go function, all cooking zones can be reduced to level 1 with the touch of a button, allowing you to leave the hob unattended for a while. The keep warm function keeps the food at serving temperature. Additionally, by setting the timer function, the cooking zone turns off automatically once the time has elapsed. With the Recall function, your settings are saved for 10 seconds.

Permanent cookware detection

All you have to do is activate the cooktop – if there is already a utensil in the cooking zone, the corresponding control element will be activated automatically. Therefore, manual activation of the cooking zone is not required. The size of the utensil is automatically recognized for particularly high energy efficiency.
