Coming from the Novablast 4, I feel like I’m stepping on jelly beans.

I run 5 kilometers in 30 minutes. (47 years old, 80 kilos, I run at an ordinary pace)..

I got them purely to help my calf recover from an injury (not caused by running).

Otherwise, I would have sold them straight away. They’re nothing like the responsiveness of the Novablast.

I’m waiting to get back to running properly so I can get the full picture.

The 5 stars are purely for the protection I feel they offer me.

I wouldn’t choose them for running.

Three stars because although it is a very comfortable and soft shoe, the fabric tears relatively quickly!

Take them one size larger compared to other sports brands. Otherwise, they are fantastic!

This is the first time this has happened to me.
Worn for about a month and the result is what you see in the photo. So much money wasted. Honestly, I did not expect this from this company after so many years of trust, it left me speechless. Maybe this particular model turned out to be defective….

Very good shoe with a very anatomical insole. Especially for several hours of standing, it is very decent. Of course, it is also suitable for running but I haven't tried it yet, I have only used it for work with long hours of standing.

It's a dream! Their cushioning is excellent and finally my soles stopped hurting. These shoes are a lifesaver

ASICS=Guarantee! And these specific ones are exactly what their name says: Like walking on a cloud.

I have had these shoes for a year. After developing an issue with both Achilles tendons due to degeneration, I decided, after searching the internet, to buy them because they have a high drop and put less strain on that specific area. These shoes you see have given me, as of today in March 2026, 412 km of training on tartan and road, and at least another half in walking that hasn't been recorded. The sole may have yellowed and developed cracks (understandable), but there hasn't been any tearing in the fabric above the toes, around them, or anywhere else! Tough as nails! They have definitely lost almost all their 'cushioning' and slowly the time is coming for their retirement (from running) and replacement with the new Nimbus 28 for greater comfort. A very informative video I saw on Skroutz played a big role in my purchase! If you do medium and long distances, especially on the road, I highly recommend them!

Tested at distances of 5, 10, 21, and 30 kilometers!! Very good choice, stability, and high grip!! Definitely worth it!!

As a feel, it's the best I've ever worn. Truly the most comfortable walking/running experience. However, in the first month, it already tore in the big toe area. €164 shoe.

Perfect shoe for me. Tried to cross the lines do a different maker, wasted €165 and gave them away after less than 6 months. Asics are best for my back and knees.

I was looking for the softest step (due to heel spur). This is the most cushioned athletic shoe out there right now. I have also used them for running, they are fine, not ideal for times and long distances since they don't have the rebound you want for that and your foot sinks into every step absorbing all the shocks, but for a relaxed run up to 30 minutes/5km they are just fine.

Although they have a particular fit that you quickly get used to (they leave the toes somewhat free and in the air), they have excellent shock absorption and provide great confidence when stepping under pressure and on slippery surfaces

very good shoe. excellent for running, I have already run 100 kilometers on it and it is in good condition. however, it should be somewhat cheaper because it seems that with a twist it could open up. as for the grip though, it is unbeatable

Excellent daily running shoes. I run with them for couple of weeks and it’s amazing . Max cushioning is the super power for 80-90kg persons like me.

The white part turned yellow and has been damaged on several areas. I have these shoes for less than 5 months. They are not worth the money.

I had tried them on in a big store. I saw some runners wearing Chinese ones and I tried them but no... no comparison. The shoe is simply amazing! It's like stepping on foam without having the instability of the Chinese ones.

After 4 months of use and less than 300 km, one shoe has a hole on the upper side. The same happened with my previous Asics (Novablast 3) but after 500 km. In general, very poor quality of the fabric construction. And it's a shame for this to happen to shoes worth 200€. At least they are very comfortable to walk in. I am seriously considering changing brands due to the build quality.

Amazingly comfortable and shock-absorbing shoe, especially if you are overweight. The best I have ever worn.

Incredible cushioning. All these years I've been getting Asics Nimbus but this one is way ahead of all the others by a large margin. It has amazing cushioning, like stepping on rubber. I recommend it to those who want it for running but also for anyone who needs it for standing for long periods!

The upper part (mesh material) is very comfortable and of good quality, it breathes well and does not squeeze the foot. The sole is excellent, absorbs shocks as promised and offers a stable step.

However, for its price, I expected something more. Personally, with the same amount of money, I would prefer Nike — a “softer” step and a lighter feel.

Overall: 4 stars for quality and comfort, but 3/5 if we take the price into account.

Very good shoe, but for me I do not recommend it for many hours of standing. It has a little weight as a shoe, but for walking it's like you're flying.

I got them for running. I'm not really into sports, just for light exercise. So far I am satisfied, especially at the points where I increase the intensity, I can really feel the difference in the step

I got them for standing at work but also for everyday use, as well as for exercise. I don't know how durable they are since I bought them only 2 months ago, however their sole is the most comfortable I have felt on my heel so far.

The shoe is used for training at the gym. My first impressions are excellent. Stable footing, more relaxed feet after training. Very good shock absorption. Time will show its durability.
After 3 months of use, running on a treadmill, then weight training, the shoe has not suffered any wear. It still works perfectly.
Review update: 31/5/2026. Almost 1 year of use at the gym. The shoe continues to perform excellently. Running on a treadmill and then weights. No wear. Shock absorption remains the same. No tears, no failures. I highly recommend it.
