A distinctive spiced "rum" and one of the best in the low price range of ~€25-€30.
It is recommended to drink it with a single ice cube (or even better, a large ice cube that melts slowly, keeping it cold without diluting it), or even better, neat after wetting the inside of the glass so that the drink mixes with the drops of water that will remain in the glass.
Finally, "rum" is put in parentheses because, after the changes in EU legislation in 2019, this particular drink, due to its higher sugar content, is no longer considered rum and therefore is prohibited from bearing that label.
Specifically, according to Regulation 2019/787, the addition of sugar to rum is allowed, but it is strictly limited to 20 grams of sugar per liter. If a drink exceeds this sugar limit, it cannot be named and sold as "Rum." In this case, it is technically classified as rum liqueur or a rum-based drink and must be labeled accordingly on its packaging.
Even after the changes, however, it remains one of the best spiced options in the above price range, along with Chairman's Reserve Spiced.

Προτείνεται να το πιείτε με έναν πάγο (η καλύτερα ice cube που λιώνει αργά κρατώντας κρύο χωρίς να το αραιώνει) ή ακόμα καλύτερα, σκέτο αφότου έχετε βρέξει το ποτήρι εσωτερικά ώστε να αναμειχθεί το ποτό με τις σταγόνες νερού που θα μείνουν στο ποτήρι.
Τέλος, το "ρούμι" μπαίνει σε παρένθεση καθώς πλέον, μετά τις αλλαγές στην νομοθεσία της ΕΕ το 2019 το συγκεκριμένο ποτό εξαιτίας της μεγαλύτερης ποσότητας σε ζάχαρη δεν θεωρείται ρούμι επομένως και απαγορεύεται να φέρει αυτή την επιγραφή.
Συγκεκριμένα, σύμφωνα με τον Κανονισμό 2019/787, η προσθήκη ζάχαρης στο ρούμι επιτρέπεται μεν, αλλά είναι αυστηρά περιορισμένη μέχρι 20 γραμμάρια ζάχαρης ανά λίτρο. Εάν ένα ποτό υπερβαίνει αυτό το όριο σακχάρων, δεν μπορεί να ονομαστεί και να πωληθεί ως «Ρούμι». Στην περίπτωση αυτή, χαρακτηρίζεται τεχνικά ως λικέρ ρούμι ή ποτό με βάση το ρούμι και πρέπει να επισημαίνεται αναλόγως στην ετικέτα του.
Ακόμα και μετά τις αλλαγές ωστόσο, παραμένει από τις καλύτερες επιλογές spiced στο παραπάνω εύρος τιμής μαζί με το Chairman's Reserve Spiced.
