I bought the vacuum cleaner 10 months ago and as long as it works, it is fantastic! The problem is that about every three months it breaks down and I have already had 2 replacements for a defective product. At some point, suddenly and without reason (because it is cleaned regularly and I do not use any detergent), it stops sucking up water from the mop cleaning area. It is not that the tube or any filter is clogged, as it does not even make any noise as if it is trying to suck up the water. Generally, I read online that this is a classic problem with this vacuum cleaner.

Excellent vacuum/mop for its price. Fast mapping with accuracy and many options for the cleaning it does.

First robotic vacuum cleaner. With all that it offers, you don’t really have to deal with it much. You just need to tidy up anything that has fallen on the floor and could cause a problem before you start it, e.g. a pen that it might pick up but not swallow and then display a stop message, cables that could get tangled and dragged by the rotating brushes (that’s how it broke one of my lamps), socks, shoes or temporarily placed items that reduce the cleaning area. Very careful in avoiding obstacles and very satisfactory vacuuming and mopping. Mapping, connectivity, carpet recognition, vacuum menu, all a piece of cake.

Quite skeptical about this type of vacuum cleaner, I decided to try it and I am very satisfied. I have nothing negative to say about this vacuum, everything is very simple. I use commercial deionized water and the tile becomes like a mirror, without limescale, with absolute shine. In the long term, it might have issues with hard water since in my area the water quality is not good, which is why I chose deionized water. It doesn't go over carpets. Both dark and light-colored. Both thick and thinner ones.
As a result, it gets disoriented, takes twice as long to clean the area, and the battery runs out.

You can't even tell it "there's a carpet here" from the app. Simple things, with other models you can. Support from Xiaomi is zero.

Terrible purchase.

It cleans and mops very well and quickly on the simple program. On deep cleaning it takes more time but does everything perfectly.
After mapping, if you move the furniture so it can clean other areas, sometimes it gets confused and you have to restart the program. The same happens if you take it to another floor.

It cleans and mops very well. Especially in the summer when I don't have carpets, it's just what I need. The only problem is that it gets stuck quite often (about once every 7-8 days) and displays the message "the vacuum is stuck." So I have to restart the robot for it to get unstuck and start cleaning/mopping again. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Strange feelings here...as my first robot vacuum I got the best one Xiaomi has at the moment BUT...apart from the mopping, which is very good (always of course with just water), in terms of vacuuming and how smart it is, it has some issues. It DOES NOT cut women's hair, so it wraps around its brush and requires manual cleaning.

The Station is excellent! It cleans its brushes, dries them, and notifies you if the water is too dirty or if there is no clean water. From the app, both the vacuum and the station have endless options.

Let's talk about intelligence...Lift ANY cables and curtains you have, otherwise, it will start pulling them as if it wants to fight with them...also, a puffy rug I have, it doesn't climb on, it avoids it (even though in the app I've set it to clean them).

Definitely, you should also have a regular electric vacuum to go over the house once in a while

It constantly has connectivity issues, it has already been replaced once in three months because it wouldn't drain the dirty water, and overall it has nothing to do with the Roborock it replaced.

I've had it for about 3 months, very good vacuuming, satisfactory mopping, a problem it had with the pump has been fixed, as long as you let it self-clean if you don't use it once a day. If you have issues with the side sensor (it can't detect walls and furniture and moves in semicircles, resulting in it vacuuming for a very long time), just turn the vacuum on/off using the button, not by resetting or unplugging it, and it will be fixed. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase!

The best money I ever spent.
It has sufficient water capacity for mopping, enough space for dust, pet hair, etc., and many cleaning programs.
Be careful with the detergent you put in the water tank; too much creates foam and overflows.
The noise at full operation is lower than a regular vacuum cleaner.
The mapping is accurate and updates every time with new data (new furniture or rearrangement).

While it cleaned perfectly in the first month, they replaced it for me because it couldn't connect. I was within the replacement period. After a month, it lost its settings again and bumps into the furniture, taking four times as long to vacuum and mop, resulting in the floor getting soaked because it stays in the same spot for too long, not to mention the battery drains and it gets stuck in the middle of the house. I will do a reset and if it continues the same, I will ask for a replacement, because fortunately I got such insurance, but I will not buy the same model again. It's a shame. A lot of money and hassle. // In the end, I did a Reset and Restart and it started working normally, fortunately.

A rather expensive product but it probably is worth the money.

The "sharing" of the device is a bit 'weird' but after that it works normally.

As long as it worked, it was a lifesaver! After 2.5 months, the mopping function broke down, as it couldn't suck up the dirty water which remained in the tank. Until I could return it for repair, I only used the vacuuming function. In the next 2.5 months, it broke down completely. While it was vacuuming, it stopped and couldn't connect no matter how many times I tried. I took it for repair and they changed the main board and the battery. They probably didn't even check the mopping function. They returned it to me full of glue residue from tape, even on the infrared windows, through which it "sees" the rooms. The vacuum simply doesn't work anymore. It just spins in circles. It will have to go back again. The Greek dealership is unacceptable.

Why does it always get stuck when I set it to clean the whole house and it follows this route? What is wrong? I have installed WiFi repeaters all over the house, so internet is not an issue. I have reset it, deleted the map, set it up again, it remapped, and when it goes to clean, it follows these erratic routes... Does anyone else have a similar problem?

It is really a very good choice for efficient vacuuming and mopping. It has no problem with carpets; on the contrary, it understands that it needs to stop mopping. It does well both in vacuuming and mopping. I am not convinced that the edge extension works ideally, as many times at the edges you need to use a handheld vacuum to properly clean the area. It has gotten stuck a few times, but that's okay, these things are expected to some extent. I remove one star because sometimes things are left on the carpets and there was one case where something went wrong with the bin and it couldn't empty it. I didn't get any notification until it started making noise from the debris that had accumulated and was hitting the rotating brush.

Overall, it is a very good choice with many settings for how and when it operates. It is easy to use and has made things much easier for me with the automatic bin emptying and mop pad cleaning.

Purchased on 24/3/2025 for €529. It's my first robotic vacuum, so I can't compare it with others.
My opinion is that after 2 months of intensive and almost daily use (vacuuming and mopping), it's worth every euro I spent.
The durability of the components (brush, side brush, filter, cloths) is beyond my initial expectations and probably greater than the lifespan given by Xiaomi itself. On the other hand, I found very cheap spare parts on a well-known site abroad.
I still need to see its durability over time.

Excellent for its price, it sweeps and mops very well, recognizes objects as long as they are not the same color as the tile (white charger cable on white tile, it struggles), for the smell in the dirty water tank, add a little 2-3ml of Listerine and it's gone, spare parts from foreign sites are very cheap

The vacuum is excellent at recognizing obstacles, even small objects like toys or pet balls. The only negative I've noticed is that twice it got "clogged" during the bin emptying process and failed to empty it. I have two cats and it's a shedding season, but still, I would expect better performance in hair removal.

Very good vacuum cleaner, I use it every day when I leave for work except on Friday and Sunday, and it cleans the whole house without any problems so far. The only thing that bothers me a little is the smell from the water; I don't know what role it plays, so I use deionized water.

The vacuum has a problem with dark-colored carpets or medium pile, either it doesn't go over them or it goes over and gets tangled. In a previous, much older model, this problem does not exist. I got it as a replacement and in the end, I have to keep the previous one to do my job properly. It's very problematic that XIAOMI knows about the issue and doesn't mention it in the specifications nor does it resolve it.

In the images, the comparison of cleaning between the S5 from 2019 and the X20 max from 2025 at the same spot with the same carpets. Huge disappointment.

The best thing available, with two kids the house is always clean, it avoids all obstacles it may encounter from the children's toys etc. Good at cleaning carpets too. After three months of daily use, the mopping function doesn't work at all while it still vacuums normally. I'm waiting to see what the store will tell me, whether it can be repaired or not

I got it for my vacation home which I also rent out, and it gets quite dirty. I am very satisfied; it picks up everything and goes everywhere, especially if you make space between the furniture. It seems to do its job because the water turns black. It collects incredibly well all the hair to such an extent that a regular brush cannot cope, and you need to wear the extra one that automatically cuts the hair (included). I will add more information as I use it!

Very good choice! It leaves the house spotless from both sweeping and mopping! I had the previous big difference in avoiding obstacles too!

It’s an amazing device. The only thing that embarrassing us - the sound that make water when station cleans the mop.
