Very good and reliable switch. It is small, sturdy, with a metal build and works immediately without any setup; you just plug it in and it works. The speeds are properly Gigabit and so far I haven’t encountered any issues with disconnections or instability.
The build quality of TP-Link seems quite good and overall it gives the impression of a more “serious” product. For use at home or in a small office, it is a perfectly good choice.
The only thing I would note is that, if I had researched it a little better before buying, I might have gone for the Mercusys MS108G, which I also tried and found equally worthy, with more ports and lower cost. Even so, the TP-Link remains a very good and high-quality choice, especially if 5 ports are enough for the use you want it for.
