The tempered glass has a 9H hardness rating and a five-layer construction for resistance to scratches and impacts. On impact, it absorbs and disperses the force across its surface, so the protector breaks instead of the camera lens.
Its transparency does not affect photo quality, and its 0.2 mm thickness makes it discreet. The protective layer holds the fragments together if the glass breaks. Screen-cleaning cloths are included in the package.
