The DIGITUS 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch connects up to 4 HDMI sources to 2 playback devices, allowing content to be routed independently. The Multi-Viewer function offers 6 ways to display sources simultaneously, including split-screen and Picture-in-Picture (PIP), on output A or outputs A and B. The HDMI output resolution can be adjusted using the scaler, while switching and control are available via the remote control, the device buttons or RS232.

The device supports resolutions of up to 4K at 30 Hz and HDCP 1.4. It allows audio to be extracted via Toslink or a 3.5 mm stereo jack for separate playback, and has a power switch. The housing is made of metal.
