This book is aimed at candidates for the ASEP competitions for the public sector, as well as for other organizations in the broader public and private sectors.

The book is divided into two parts:

• The first part contains chapters on Numerical Patterns, Geometric Patterns, and Logic Questions.

• The second part contains chapters that assess the knowledge area and cover the material of what is commonly referred to as Practical Arithmetic.

All chapters include theory and multiple-choice exercises.

Additionally, the book features many Simulation Criteria with 40 questions, which will assist the candidate in review and familiarization with the exam timing.

At the end of the book, there are answers to all exercises, as well as guidelines or detailed solutions to selected questions.
