Description & Specifications

Vibrabsorb System This technology enables optimal shock absorption, thanks to a combination of elastic materials embedded within the carbon fibers in the core and the handle of the racket.

Holes Pattern System The arrangement and size of the holes have been adapted to the shape of the racket to maximize power transmission and response accuracy when hitting.

3K Carbon Frame Construction with 3,000 woven carbon fibers ensures a stronger response and good stiffness.

3D Spin The elevated structures on the racket's surface, combined with the surface texture, allow you to hit with more spin and increase control.

X-EVA Core construction with 3 layers of EVA that increases the explosiveness of powerful shots thanks to the two harder outer layers and offers greater tolerance and comfort for slower shots thanks to the soft inner layer.

Smart Buttcap Innovative strap binding system present at the handle's base, allowing you to remove the strap for washing or changing at will.

Basic Features

  • Carbon Construction: Carbon fibers woven into the faces and frame for immediate response and structural rigidity.
  • X-EVA Core: 3-layer EVA construction with two harder outer layers for explosiveness and a softer inner layer for comfort.
  • 3D Spin / 3D Spin+ Technology: Embossed pattern and rough surface texture for increased ball grip and spin generation.
  • Vibrasorb System²: Elastomers integrated into the handle and core for optimal vibration absorption.
  • Holes Pattern System: Customized hole arrangement and size around the sweet spot to maximize power transfer.
  • Smart Buttcap: Innovative system that allows the wrist strap to be easily removed for washing or replacement.
  • Technical Specifications: Average weight 365 g, profile 38 mm, high balance.

Carbon Structure & X-EVA Core

The Babolat Counter Viper 2025 features woven carbon fibers on its striking surfaces, offering increased stiffness and direct energy transfer on ball contact. The X-EVA core consists of three different layers: the two outer layers are harder to provide greater explosiveness on attacking shots, while the softer inner layer offers shock absorption and forgiveness on defensive returns.

Spin Control & Sweet Spot Optimization

The outer surface of the racket face features the textured 3D Spin / 3D Spin+ technology, which increases friction with the ball and makes it easier to hit with pronounced spin. Meanwhile, the Holes Pattern System adapts the arrangement and diameter of the holes around the central impact area (sweet spot), delivering a consistent feel and precise ball placement.

Shock Absorption & Ergonomics

To reduce strain on the arm, the racket features the Vibrasorb System² (developed in collaboration with SMAC), which incorporates elastomeric materials into the carbon structure and handle to effectively absorb vibrations. In addition, the Smart Buttcap system at the base of the handle allows the safety strap to be removed for cleaning or replacement.

Racket Weight

Balance Point
-

Balance Point

Refers to the balance point measured from the base (mm), that is, the distance from the bottom of the handle to the point where the racket balances.

  • Low balance point (approximately 250–260 mm): More weight towards the handle. The racket is usually more maneuverable and easier to handle quickly.
  • Medium balance point (approximately 260–270 mm): A balance between maneuverability and power. Usually a versatile choice for different playing styles.
  • High balance point (approximately 270–285+ mm): More weight towards the head. Can provide greater power for attacking shots, but is usually less maneuverable.
