Polyester ropes are woven from continuous filament polyester yarns. They have high resistance to abrasion, UV rays, heat, and common chemicals.
Due to their polyester composition, they do not have significant elasticity and are therefore considered ideal for applications where light stretching is required but good handling properties are needed.
They are very popular as a marine rope in shipping, sailing for mooring and berthing small boats, fishing, where elasticity is not particularly desired.
