The Ajax Systems Protect 2 wireless temperature detector detects high temperatures above 64 °C and a rapid temperature increase of more than 10 °C in one minute or less. It also detects carbon monoxide and triggers an alarm when its concentration exceeds specified thresholds. The built-in siren provides audible and visual alerts, and the detector can operate either as part of an Ajax security system or independently without a Hub.

It is designed for indoor use and communicates via the Jeweller protocol at 868.0–868.6 MHz. Its wireless range reaches up to 1,700 m in an open area, and its replaceable batteries last up to 7 years. It complies with the EN 54-5:2017+A1:2018 and EN 50291-1:2018 fire safety standards.
