The youngest player starts by drawing an inspiration card and spinning the wheel. The wheel shows the theme on the outer circle (e.g., cinema), while the inner circle shows the action to be performed (e.g., pantomime). The player has 20 seconds to find an object that corresponds to the theme and the inspiration card. Then, they write the object on a small board without showing it to others. Subsequently, they have one minute to help the other players guess the object they wrote, using the action indicated by the wheel. At the end of the round, points are counted and the game continues. The next player will be the one sitting to the right of the last player who spun the wheel.
Shuffle the inspiration cards and place them face down in the center of the table in various stacks. Keep all the other game materials close to you.
How to Play:
The Wheel:
As an addition to determine the theme (cinema, sports, art, music, professions, and literature), the wheel shows one of the following challenges: drawing (with the large board and erasable marker, without using letters), verbal explanation (without pronouncing words that contain the solution), and pantomime (without saying any words!). When the wheel shows "chain," the player must call another player to take their turn and freely choose one of the three skills displayed.
Let's imagine that the inspiration card shows a planet:
Example 1. If the wheel stops at the "art-literature" section, the player can depict the title of a novel, e.g., "The Little Prince," by drawing a planet and a child.
Example 2. If the wheel stops at the "pantomime-cinema" section, the player can act out the title of a movie, e.g., "Planet of the Apes," by mimicking a chimpanzee.
Example 3. If the wheel stops at the "explain in your own words-professions" section, the player can make others guess the profession "geologist" by saying it is a job that involves studying the Earth.
Points and Objective of the Game:
If the current player does not find the correct words or object, or if no one guesses correctly, no points are awarded. If a suitable object is found and the player guesses:
- 1 point is awarded to both players - the player who guessed and the player whose turn it was (the one who created the puzzle).
- If the "chain" section is played, the player who created the puzzle doubles their points.
Players record their points on the designated board, updating them each time with the erasable marker. The winner is the first to reach 10 points (or more or less, as determined by the players at the start of the game). In the event of a tie, an additional round of play follows.
