In front of the big toe, they are very narrow in height, which makes you feel the big toe being pressed downward. While I generally wear 44.5 in Nike, these in size 45 give the feeling that they are narrow in height at the front and are uncomfortable even for simple walking from the first 10-15 steps. In terms of lateral support, they are okay for the gym, but only up to that point. Not at all for long walks or, even worse, for running. At €50 they are a bit borderline expensive, so you can understand how problematic they are for a "high" instep. 3 stars only for the quality of the materials and that they do not heat up, and they fit properly without squeezing.
