    I bought this bed for my dog as she is large and has arthritis.
    The mattress was not what is shown in the photo.
    I contacted the store where I bought it and asked them what makes it orthopedic since it is a considerable amount, around 80 euros for the largest one we got, and since the mattress was not the one pictured.
    They told me that maybe there was a mistake and they would talk to the company to send me the correct mattress.
    Taking the opportunity, I said that since all this is happening, I would like to get the largest one so she can be even more comfortable in it.
    Ten days passed, maybe even more, and I had no update.
    And while I kept calling, the line was either busy or switched off.
    Today, when I finally got through, they told me they would call the company and get back to me.
    So they called me and told me that it is orthopedic and they do not have a larger one...

    My dog (13kg) got very comfortable in it, during a time when he was in a lot of pain from his arthritis he managed to settle in it. I got the large size to ensure comfort.
    The fabric is quite thin and hair sticks to it, which is okay, but it can be removed and washed.
    It allows the dog to curl up and use the side pillows and it is indeed memory foam.
    It is quite expensive but I couldn't find anything else orthopedic, I believe it's worth it! I bought a second one for the bedroom
