Description

Duronaut is a high-specification thermal paste designed with a focus on exceptional thermal conductivity and long-term stability. This stability is achieved through a specially formulated silicone oil combined with aluminum microparticles and zinc oxide nanoparticles of various shapes. These optimized particle shapes and sizes minimize the pumping effect, ensuring excellent adhesion to surfaces resulting in extremely low thermal transfer resistance.

  • Extreme long-term stability
  • Exceptional thermal conductivity
  • Electrically non-conductive
  • No hardening over time

The optimized particle shapes and sizes allow Duronaut to be applied in very thin layers, enhancing adhesion and minimizing thermal resistance. This thin application layer, combined with the high conductivity of the aluminum microparticle and zinc oxide nanoparticle mixture, ensures efficient heat transfer between the heat source (e.g., a CPU) and the cooler. For optimal application, the TG Spatula Pro spatula is included with Duronaut, allowing increased pressure during application for effective spreading and a thinner layer of thermal paste.

I use this thermal paste together with the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Duronaut is a high-performance thermal paste, designed for extremely long lifespan and superior thermal conductivity, using aluminum and zinc oxide particles. It is ideal for CPUs and GPUs that operate under high load, offering excellent and stable heat transfer, while reducing the “pump-out” effect. It usually surpasses Kryonaut in terms of long-term durability. For this reason, it can also be used in laptops. Almost all quality thermal pastes on the market offer similar temperatures. The important thing here is stability. Duronaut offers stability at a very high level.

The best I have ever tried. You need to be careful when applying it and spreading it on the processor, but the result in the end will amaze you!

I bought this particular paste to do maintenance on my computer's graphics card (Asus TUF RX6800XT) which was reaching 113 degrees Celsius at the Hotspot. After changing the paste (arctic MX4) to this one, the difference is huge. The highest hotspot temperature I saw after a stress test is 90 degrees Celsius, and the GPU temperature is at 73. It is a much more expensive paste than the regular ones, but if you want to keep your graphics card alive, this paste will cover you. As for durability, time will tell.

Comparing with mx-6. Not worth it. Same and slightly worse temperatures, with the same liquid cooling and the same application method.

Now, I don't know about the lifespan of this paste, but how much worse can it be than the mx-6? And even if it is, it's still not worth it.
