The Ajax WaterStop Black valve controls the water supply and can operate either as part of an Ajax security system or independently without a Hub. Without a Hub, it does not support scenarios or remote control via the Ajax app. When connected to a compatible system, it can automatically shut off the water supply based on a leak alarm, schedule, change in security mode, activation of a LightSwitch or button, or temperature.

The water is shut off in up to 5 seconds. The replaceable batteries last up to 3 years.
