The Swiss Aqua Technologies Kalyxx magnetic water softener treats water using Turbulent Galvanic Polarization (TGP®) technology to reduce scale formation. Inside, it has turbine-shaped electrodes made from two different electrically conductive materials, as well as magnets that enhance its effectiveness. The turbulent water flow generates an electrical charge of up to 4.5 V, while the device converts hard calcite into soft aragonite.
Its certified effectiveness in reducing scale formation reaches 90%, while it inhibits the proliferation of Escherichia coli bacteria by 40%. It helps extend the lifespan and maintain the performance of appliances that use water, and reduces the need to descale water heaters, mixers and tankless showers. It requires no external power supply or maintenance, uses no chemicals and causes minimal pressure loss without reducing water flow.
