I happened to be able to make a direct comparison with the JBL Go 4, which is its main competitor recently (music playback from Spotify). The positives of the Soundcore are its clearly better battery and its price (15-20€ cheaper at the moment than the JBL). In terms of sound, I liked the JBL slightly more, with the sound coming out a bit fuller and the bass blending a bit better.
For use at the beach and generally as an on-the-go speaker, the Select 4 Go is excellent.
Therefore, a value-for-money little speaker with amazing battery autonomy and sound at the standards of this category of speakers up to 5 watts.

Σε θέμα ήχου το jbl μου άρεσε ελαφρώς περισσότερο με τον ήχο να βγαίνει λίγο πιο γεμάτος και το μπάσο να δένει λίγο καλύτερα.

It is the first speaker I buy for personal use. Compared to others I have heard and used, branded and not, I think it is incomparable. Its big advantage is of course the battery, and proof of this is that I took it with me on vacation to the island and never needed to charge it there. Sound-wise, I believe it even surpasses the equivalent products of the mainstream brand (JBL) since the sound is essentially more "full" and doesn't get muffled as the volume increases. Also, it doesn't "cut" the cymbals unlike the aforementioned ones. In terms of volume, it's just fine to use on the balcony, at the beach, camping, and the volume is limited to your group and not those around you. I don't think anyone would expect anything different from a speaker of this size. Truly, maybe the best purchase I made this summer.

Ήχος: Για το μέγεθος του, ο ήχος είναι σοβαρός. Έχει καθαρότητα και ένα μπάσο που σε κάνει να αναρωτιέσαι πού το κρύβει. Για την παραλία, το μπάνιο ή το δωμάτιο είναι ιδανικό.
Αντοχή: Το πετάς στην τσάντα, βρέχεται, σκονίζεται και δεν καταλαβαίνει τίποτα.
Η πραγματικότητα:
Πληρώνεις λίγα και παίρνεις πολλά, αλλά παραμένει ένα μικρό, φορητό ηχείο. Δεν θα καλύψει ολόκληρο σαλόνι με μουσική για πάρτι, αλλά για προσωπική χρήση και μικρές παρέες, είναι ό,τι πιο value-for-money κυκλοφορεί εκεί έξω.

Πήρα 2 , κάνουν pair μεταξύ τους , βάζεις το ένα στη μια γωνία το άλλο στην άλλη γωνία του χώρου και δεν πιστεύεις στα αυτιά σου. Δεν γίνεται με 48€ να τους κοροϊδέψα έτσι, θα πεις.
Excellent product for its price.
Coming from JBL Go 1/2/3 and just before getting the 4, I decided to try this one since it was almost half the price. The app is user-friendly with a nice layout, the sound is on par with JBL, easy connectivity, and you can link it with other speakers of the same series for stereo sound.
Unbeatable battery in its category.
I will definitely buy another one.

Ερχόμενος από jbl go 1/2/3 και λίγο πριν πάρω το 4 είπα να δοκιμάσω το συγκεκριμένο μιας και ήταν τα μισά σχεδόν χρήματα. Εύχρηστη και με ωραίο layout εφαρμογή, ισάξιος των jbl ήχος, εύκολη συνδεσιμότητα και μπορείς να κάνεις link μεταξύ τους κι άλλα ηχεία ίδιας σειράς για stereo ήχο.
Μπαταρία ασυναγώνιστη της κατηγορίας.
Θα αγοράσω κι άλλο σίγουρα.
