The BRAKE FLUID TESTER is an electronic tool used in professional automotive services. It is designed to check the water content in DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 brake fluids.
The operation of the tester is based on measuring the water content of the brake fluid. The brake fluid should not contain more than 1.5% water. A water content of about 3% is acceptable under certain conditions, but beyond this value, the brake fluid must always be replaced.
Technical specifications:
- The quality of the fluid is indicated by 5 LED lights.
- Note: Do not use for DOT 5 brake fluid and other silicone-based fluids!
