    The Culpables series by Mercedes Ron consists of three books: Culpa mía (My Fault), Culpa tuya (Your Fault), and Culpa nuestra (Our Fault). The story began on Wattpad and evolved into a global phenomenon, with millions of readers and successful film adaptations.

    The series follows 17-year-old Noah, who moves into a luxurious mansion when her mother marries a wealthy businessman. There she meets her new stepbrother, Nick, a mysterious and rebellious character. Initially, they clash, but gradually an intense and forbidden relationship develops between them.

    The series also deals with topics such as domestic violence and class differences among others, so I suggest checking the trigger warnings before starting it.

    The last book in the series thus closes a cycle. I can't say I was thrilled with the ending; I would have liked something different, to be honest, but the story overall flowed effortlessly and with suspense. The romantic scenes did not disappoint, and of course, the power of friendship was presented in the most beautiful way. It's a bit cliché as a series, but that's why we love it, because it successfully delivers all the drama and romance we want from such a story.

    The last book in the series comes to put the pieces of our hearts in their place!!!! A guilty pleasure series that you will definitely love if you read and adored the after when you were younger. The bad boy and the girl with the frozen heart and the sensitive past intertwine their ropes in a love battle with many ups and downs that will take your breath away and get you hooked.
    Revolutionary, with secrets and betrayals, pain and a lot of love, the 3rd and final book in the series will close the cycle of the books leaving you with mixed feelings.
    A pleasant read, light and enjoyable, it describes first love with all its flaws and beauties.
    I loved it because it reminded me of that first love that made my heart beat fast.
    I didn’t like that at some points it was quite rushed, leaving some key plot points uncovered, but it doesn’t matter, it’s still a series that I will always have in my heart.
    Recommended for ages 17 and up.
