The Raspberry Pi case for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is made of aluminum and functions as a heatsink. The thermal pads make direct contact with the processor’s IHS and the RAM. It protects the main components from mechanical damage and accidental short circuits.

It is secured with screws and can be disassembled repeatedly. To assemble it, remove the clear film from the thermal pads and attach them to the top of the case. The bottom plate is secured to the top together with the Raspberry Pi.
