    Tip:
    The eyelets of the shoe, since they are metallic, are not affected.
    However, the sole will be dyed. Before you dip them in the basin, cover with insulating tape or with vaseline so it doesn't absorb.
    If, however, it does get dyed, you can fix it with acetone and a lot of scrubbing.
