Their unique feature is that the jig is not tied directly to the line, but moves freely along it (Free Slide). The head sinks first, followed by the tentacles and the bait, a movement that is considered perfectly natural.

The Tenya jig is of an indefinite shape and has many sides and angles, resulting in it presenting its bulk from every possible viewing angle. They are ideal for shallow areas.

They have a low center of gravity and, due to their shape and movement, remain on the bottom for a longer period of time.
