The KVM over IP Access provides control from a network to a computer or a KVM Switch that does not have built-in IP functionality. The Lindy KVM over IP Access DVI-I, USB, and PS/2 solution allows users to remotely control a computer or a KVM Switch. It is ideal for system administrators who need to control multiple computers or servers connected to a KVM Switch from any location with an Internet connection.
This device can be easily installed near the KVM device you need to manage via USB and DVI ports, and it can also connect to older computers with PS/2 and VGA ports using the included PS/2 KM cable and DVI to VGA adapter. Screen resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 are supported with smart compression technology, ensuring optimized video transmission when used in data centers or traffic management settings.
A local console can be connected to the 2 USB and DVI-I ports on the front side, while a USB Wi-Fi port on the back side can be used to connect a Wi-Fi dongle (supported is the Realtek RTL8192CU) and create a connection to a wireless network. The KVM over IP Access can be configured with different levels of encryption, providing greater control to users, ideal for large-scale control systems in transport hubs or surveillance centers.
