Tytan sealing silicone is used for repairing and sealing joints, gaps and cracks in roof coverings such as roofing felt, sheet metal, bituminous shingles and bituminous compounds. Its formulation is based on bitumen rubber and remains elastic. It adheres to common building substrates, both dry and damp, and is resistant to changing weather conditions.
It is also suitable for bonding layers of roofing felt and roofing felt to concrete, for metal roofing work, and for sealing gutters, drainpipes, and ventilation, air-conditioning and flue ducts that pass through the roof. It can also be used to fill grooves and joints when waterproofing building walls. Tools can be cleaned with white spirit or another solvent.
