Metalweld rutile-cellulose coated electrodes are designed for welding low-alloy and unalloyed steels in all positions. The concentrated arc allows root pass welding on pipes, while ignition is 100% reliable both at the start and upon restriking. The arc is flexible and stable, and the electrodes are recommended for practical welder training.
They allow AC welding at an open-circuit voltage below 42 V and operate on either AC or DC. They do not require extensive welding experience.
