The metal adapter features a built-in aperture control and a spring-loaded mechanism that holds the lens securely on the camera body. Automatic aperture operation, autofocus and other electronic functions do not work properly, so the adapter is used in manual or aperture-priority mode. It supports TTL flash metering and maintains infinity focus.
